Service Description
Reynolds Institute of Criminology offers EMT/Paramedic training for those who want to work in hospitals to provide emergency services, ensuring the safety and well-being of our community members. First, EMTs are sometimes referred to as emergency medical responders (EMRs). They provide basic medical care and transportation to patients, such as assessing patients' conditions, administering oxygen, performing CPR, and immobilizing patients for transport. Second, Paramedics have a broader scope of practice than EMTs, performing more advanced medical procedures and offering advanced life support. Paramedics can perform procedures such as administering intravenous medications, monitoring electrocardiograms (ECGs), and performing tracheotomies. As a leading Criminal Justice College, we prioritize practical training and real-world experience to prepare future justice professionals for success in the field. Our commitment to excellence and professionalism sets us apart in the industry, providing valuable skills and knowledge to our students. Trust Reynolds Institute of Criminology for top-notch emergency medical services and cutting-edge research in criminology.
